I release Nightjar, my debut solo album in March, made alongside the Sussex coast with help from Neill MacColl, Ben Nicholls and David Tomlins.

 

This year I've sung for The Nettle Dress documentary, a hymn to the healing power of slow craft and opened at screenings, explored Mermaids with Folklorist Sophia Kingshill and led singing walks amongst the hawthorn and gorse of local downland.

 

I've been a songwriter and singer with Chalk Horse Music and for five years hosted a radio show covering the folklore, music and social history of Sussex.

 

I was previously signed to Atlantic Records, leading to a number 1 club record in the US. Meeting Ahmet Ertegen, together with the label’s history was impossible to resist.
